I'm all up for doing some pair/ensemble-programming at the meetup, let's
try this! As Michael said, there's a lot of possible packages to look at
– maybe from the output you posted, pick ts.el first because of those it
seems to be the most universal? Do you think you could prepare a small
repo with a reduced vanilla config that others could check out to start
from the same state, assuming Emacs 29.4, and see the same compilation
warnings?

The next meetup is going to be hybrid again – remote on Jitsi and
in-person at c-base.
