Hello,

Hopefully everyone survived the March meetup. ;) Another big thanks to
Max and the hosts and all.

A little addendum about Calc.

I recommend you try Calc's embedded mode which allows to edit a line
with the full power of Calc.  The line should be surrounded by empty
lines like so:

x+42

#v-

In the line with "x+42" activate embedded mode with C-x * e.  Then you
are "in Calc".  E.g. enter 19-aix followed by RET and dB (ai means
integration, dB means "big" display) to obtain:

#v+
% [calc-mode: language: big]

 2
x
-- + 23 x
2

#v-

Do C-x * e again to get back to the mode before the embedded mode
activation.

How cool is that?

It's all in the documentation which typically is a C-x * i away,
possibly even when you are in cua-mode.  ;)
