Til has asked me to present something of the recent Emacs
development. Well, I could speak about Thread Programming in Emacs
Lisp. This has been introduced in Emacs 26; and there are extensions in
the upcoming Emacs 27.

As an example I could also show some work-in-progress: Thread-safe
Tramp. This is to perform remote operations like file visiting or buffer
saving asynchronously.

Interested?
