Dear Friends and colleagues,<br>
<br>
On January 16th, 2015, will be the release of the next issue of
Starship Magazine. With new editors (Nikola Dietrich and Henrik
Olesen, together with Martin Ebner and Ariane Müller), new graphic
design (Dan Solbach), and new format (bigger) but the proven 50:50
relation between text and images.<br>
<br>
Building on 16 years of experience in publishing which makes us
the oldest art magazine from Berlin, Starship still provides
unexpected turns and novelties, far from the fading glory of
actualities. We may add that it lies in the very nature of a
magazine (German: Zeitschrift) that it is part of its time (Zeit),
so that this issue of Starship also very loosely deals with time,
time machines, and machines.<br>
<br>
We are convinced that it is still the time to produce printed
magazines, and having decided to give Starship a more regular
frequency of appearance from now on, we hope to share some of the
excitement we had with all our contributions, while producing the
magazine.<br>

On this occasion we would be very happy if you join us for the
release party of Starship at Suedblock, Berlin on the 16th of
January, 2015 <br>

Liebe Freunde, Freundinnen, Kollegen und Kolleginnen,<br>
<br>
Am 16. Januar 2015 erscheint die neue Ausgabe der Zeitschrift
Starship. Mit neuen HerausgeberInnen (Nikola Dietrich und Henrik
Olesen, gemeinsam mit Martin Ebner und Ariane Müller), einem neuen
Grafik Design (Dan Solbach) und einem neuen Format (größer), aber
in der erprobten 50:50 Relation zwischen Text und Bildern.<br>
<br>
Im Wort Zeitschrift liegt ja das Wort Zeit schon angelegt, und so
beschäftigt sich diese Ausgabe von Starship lose mit Zeit,
Zeitmaschinen und anderen Maschinen, darüber hinaus nimmt jede
Ausgabe der Zeitschrift Starship aber auch immer eine Wendung ins
Unbekannte, von der wir hoffen, dass sie, abseits der einfachen
Aktualität, auch Neues beinhalten wird.<br>
<br>
Starship ist die älteste Kunstzeitschrift aus Berlin, sie
erscheint nun seit 16 Jahren, umso mehr hoffen wir, dass das neue
Heft auch den Lesern und Leserinnen etwas von der Freude
angesichts der großartigen Beiträge vermitteln kann, die wir beim
Produzieren der Zeitschrift hatten.<br>

Aus all diesen Gründen veranstalten wir am 16.1. 2015 eine Party
anlässlich des Erscheinens von Starship 12.<br>
