Hey guys,

That's nice to hear. I actually got interested to try and practise some android development again after some time so I also revisited that post. Still works. Only thing that I did differently is to install all android sdk related stuff from my OS so that the package manager can take care of it.

The tip by Michael about tramp and adb is also pretty awesome.

Cheers,

Lefteris(Eleftherios) Karapetsas

Hi everybody,
For the records, there is also a new Tramp method for accessing Android
devices directly. If you have connected one Android device via USB,
running USB debugging, just open in Emacs "C-x C-f /adb::" and you're
there. The Tramp manual discusses also more sophisticated configuration
for accessing.

You can even run a shell on the Andtroid device, via "M-x shell" or
"M-x eshell".
